CLUB VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - NATWEST RUGBYFORCE WEEKEND
SATURDAY 22nd JUNE & SUNDAY 23rd JUNE

Dear Members,
This is the 7th year Windsor have taken part in the NatWest Rugbyforce Weekend which will take place on Saturday & Sunday 22nd & 23rd June. We have again applied for supportive funding from the RFU to help subsidise the planned “Club Summer Makeover” which involves a general tidy up of the clubhouse and surrounding area in preparation for next season.

This is a great opportunity to get club volunteers together from all age groups of the club - Minis, Juniors, Colts, Seniors and Social Members - to help give various areas of the clubhouse a summer makeover and tidy up ready for the new season.

We are not asking for a lot of your time, perhaps 2/3 hours, (more if you can manage it), on either or both of the days in the morning or early afternoon, a bit of elbow grease and not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

Tasks involve general cleaning and tidying up to most areas of the clubhouse both inside and outside and  the surrounding areas - painting, general repairs, washing down paintwork, doors, walls, cleaning windows, sprucing up patio area, checking gutters, shifting rubbish, emptying out cupboards, bar shelves etc.

Apart from improving the clubhouse general appearance, this is a great team building opportunity for everyone involved and the chance to do something positive for your club. Your help will greatly be appreciated, everyone welcome.

What Next
If you are able to help and give up some of your time, please could you let me know your availability and I will add your name to the list of volunteers.

Please email me, Ian Potter at: Ispathome@aol.com

The plan is to start the various projects at 10.00am on both days, work through till shortly after lunch and then stop for a beer and a burger and reflect on our achievements on the day!

Please don't be put off if you can only manage one of the days or a few hours, all help will be gratefully accepted.

The earlier we know availability, the sooner it will help us plan the jobs we can take on and what materials we will need to get in.

We will communicate to all volunteers with further details and timings once we know the level of support.

 Many Thanks
 Ian
