Many congratulations to Beki Davies for winning the Mitsubishi National Volunteer of the Year at the RFU Virtual Awards Night on Friday 19th March 2021.

Beki was nominated by parents and players from her age group at Windsor RFC and they are all delighted and proud of Beki for winning this prestigious award against 42 other Regional Winners.

Beki is a true Ambassador for Windsor RFC and has committed endless hours to the Youth Section coaching her age group from the Minis  to Under 16s when the players moved into the Colts Section.

In addition to Beki’s coaching commitments at Windsor RFC, Beki has been coaching Berkshire U15s as well as being an active member of the Berkshire Disciplinary Committee.

At the start of the 2021/2022 season Beki Davies moved into the role of Windsor RFC Coaching Co-Ordinator. Beki has made great strides working with Head Coach during Lockdown to improve coaching development and coaching practices throughout the club. Rugby Chairman, Mike Crawshaw and Head Coach Jack Pattinson have been both been delighted the impact that Beki has made in this crucial role.

In addition, Beki has raised awareness of Coaching Development at Windsor RFC by creating a Coaches Section on the website as well as a regular Coaching Newsletter.

Jack Pattinson had this to say of Beki’s achievement.

‘ An incredible achievement. I have been blown away by how much work Beki does behind the scenes at Windsor RFC. It so important we celebrate this achievement as a club and show how much it means to us’

As Jack says, Windsor RFC look forward to formally congratulating and celebrating Beki’s great achievement once lockdown ends.

Many congratulations once again on this tremendous achievement!

Best wishes
